My Health Journey

My health journey has had its ups and downs, but when healing finally came, I was able to start living into the abundant life that God had intentionally planned for me to harvest all along.

Since I was 12, I had struggled with painful, heavy periods but little did I know that this wasn’t normal. It was my “normal”, so I figured every young woman dealt with what I went through every month. It wasn’t until 2008, 15 years later, that I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Having the diagnosis was helpful information, but the painful journey continued. I had four ablations and one excision surgery before I finally realized I couldn’t live like this any longer.

I needed to become my own advocate over my health and my body.

In 2019, I started a holistic journey to heal myself from the inside out. I had to learn a new way of living and unlearn some of the things I thought were helpful. I began to peel back the onion, and layer by layer, getting down to its roots, my body began to heal.

I can say with confidence that I am in remission. For the past three years, I have been living a lifestyle that is pain and symptom free. During this time, I have come to understand the importance of prioritizing a nutrient-dense diet, adequate sleep, proper hydration and movement which provided the essential support my body required to feel its best.

At 43, after two decades of leading worship, I transitioned into this new ministry, shepherding a new flock. My goal is to help others live their healthiest lives, inspired by my own second chance at life. Our journeys may be different, as our bodies are wonderfully complex but together, we share the common goal of living in optimal wellness.

I want your dreams of a healthier life to become reality!

“I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.” - John 15:5
